As I continue to paint the ocean, bays and marshes, I never grow tired of their endless beauty. There is always something different on each outing. The lighting, tide, and weather are always a new challenge. I have found that as I look at other artist's work I am inspired to move ahead with my own project, continually seeking to create a mood ~vhere the viewer finds pleasure in what he sees.
In the future, I think all of us face some great challenges in preserving our natural coastal and inland waterways. It is my hope that our children and their children will find what we've left them as beautiful as we found it.
